What's in my Bag

I haven't posted a "What's in my bag" photo or blog post in a really long time. Clockwise:
Black Leather Bag with gold hardware from TJ Maxx, this was the last bag of this style, there was no tag attached, and no designer/maker label anywhere in the bag. So I paid what the management at this  particular store wanted me to pay, so I paid about $40.00 for this ""mystery bag". It was the only bag I liked that fulfilled all my bag requirements. Dark Tortoise Alba Sunglasses case (they also come in black) from Banana Republic, to purchase, you can buy them here. Guess Black Rim Glasses case which you can find here. Pink make-up bag from TJ Maxx (it came in a set with a larger metallic navy blue make-up bag) for about $20.00. The Chevron phone case and Chevron iPhone Charger are also from TJ Maxx, each was $10.00. The white and teal Contact Case is from Target

My work ID, I bought Wild, by Cheryl Strayed from Target. I'm very excited to read this book I've only read the first chapter so far. The light cream colored Wallet by Ralph Lauren, I paid $75.00 at TJ Maxx. I tried to look on Ebay for this (I saw it there before) but it looks to be sold out. I love this wallet so much! Lastly, my favorite Key tag key-chain that I have ever owned that reads, "Beekeeper's Club President" is from Three Potato Four. Just an FYI, I used to be a beekeeper. I'll post a 'What's in my make-up bag" soon.

My First 5k!

I just competed my first 5K Run for my favorite charitable organization, Union Station Homeless Services. I only had 3 weeks to train, as my life has been chaotic and unpredictable recently. I'm trying to just to stay above water and work on myself and be as "zen" as possible. These sites have really helped me out, as has watching tons of YouTube, Tiny Buddha and FitSugar. Also, apparently, my selfie confidence has improved, above is my "After 5K/no make up" selfie! Haha!

I finished the race in 28 minutes, which isn't bad, especially for my first time! Click here for my Spotify playlist. I'm not sure I'll be doing another run any time soon but I'll be working on my biking again and try to get in shape for the Long Beach Bike Marathon.

Try the World: Venice Box Review

I am really happy about this box, I loved Venice! I've been wanting to buy some anchovies to make some Caesar salad from scratch, I am so happy to try this with the Orlando U’Piscatori Anchovies! I also just ran out of Olive oil and happy get some of the Merico Maria Rosa Di Consiglia Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I haven't tried the La Bandita Pear and Grappa Jam but I'm very excited about it. The Domori Cherry Chocolate Treats are delicious, I love cherries! The Apicoltura Luca Finocchio Thousand Flowers Honey is good, not great and the container is a bit small. The Mogi Ethic Coffee smells really good, I just don't know how it tastes yet because I'm not sure how to make it correctly just yet. Lastly, I have the Perugina Limoncello Dark Chocolate Bar. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate, or lemons but all the reviews I've read have raved about it. Overall, I'm loving everything in this box and I'm sure you will too!

100th Sale!

This beautiful vintage 1950's cake dome just sold and I loved it so much. It'll be going to New York soon. I will say that I never though that I'd be selling 100 vintage items and still have more to sell. It's been an amazing four years and while it may not seem like much, when first started this shop, Sea Sand Vintage I was a student and now I've been working in my chosen career field for the past three years. Thank you to all my customers and blog readers, you have kept me going.

I also never thought that one of my customers would be the AMC's Award winning series, Mad Men. Who purchased my vintage finger cymbals for the Season 5, Episode 10 "Christmas Waltz" (Premiered May, 20 2012).

Just a look back to my first sale below, I really worked on my photography and I will continue to do so. I also, still have some fabric, but I've decided to sell the fabric specifically around the holidays and any actual in person sales at fairs or booths.
