My sister Danie is kind enough to act as my Etsy Model when I need to take photos of a person using or wearing a Vintage Item. Above and below are some photos I've taken of her, you can also read her style and fashion blog, Dustland Fashion.

Fragile

I have made a number of things for my Etsy Store, this Fragile Rubber Stamp is one of them. although it didn't take long to make, it is really useful and adds a personal touch to many fragile package that I am sending. I thought that I would add some of the Native/Southwestern Triangle and Arrow images that I enjoy. I also thought that I would make the stamp less-professional looking because I wanted to add a sense of whimsy to the package.

New Blog Look

This is my new Blog Design 4.0.My previous designs have been based on Vintage items that I have had. My sister, Daniella of Dustland Fashion consulted with me regarding my next blog look. Mainly because I get bored of the same look all the time and I always try to improve my Shop's online presence. This 4.0 features my photos as Polaroids, since I currently have two Polaroid Cameras for sale at Sea Sand Vintage.
As you can see, I've changed the look a bit since last year.

1.0: Vintage Paper

2.0: Getty Villa (My Personal Favorite)

3.0: German Countryside

4.0 Vintage Polaroid

Part One was brainstorming what the new theme would be, my sister an avid camera collector suggested a Polaroid Theme with my Instagram photos. Part Two was going on to Picmonkey.com to edit the photos using their Polaroid Application, next was moving on to Pixelr.com to put them together to into one Banner Image. Short and sweet, but it took about 2 hours to complete this project.

Etsy About Section

I just saw the new "About" section on Etsy! It looks really interesting and I'm excited to read other Shops about sections and add more to my Shop's personality and brand. I'm happy to add a "mission statement" and be given the opportunity to continue adding credibility and continue marketing my store brand, I'm also interested in adding photos of the "background" scenes of Sea Sand Vintage to show my customers and future customers.

Thank You

.

Thank you to all my customers, it has been a very successful and fun year. I have learned a lot about buying and selling Vintage on Etsy! Luckily, I still have plenty of items to sell and so many ideas for this year, I already want to change the entire look of Sea Sand Vintage and I'm excited to continue making sales. The two items below are sales I have made this week! I'm so happy to be able to give these items new homes!

Below is a "mini gift" I try to give my customers. It can be a vintage bead, ribbon, or button.

Art Love

I've been a fan of Edward Ruscha for a while, click here for an autobiography on his website. I thought I would post some of my favorite pieces of his. I also was in awe when I saw his "On the Road" Exhibit last Summer. Although, none of those pieces did not make it to this post.

My Vintage Belongings (Fashion Edition)

These Vintage Brown Leather Sandals that I found in a thrift store in Pomona, CA are amazing! They fit like a glove and make all of my Spring/Summer outfits completely adorable.
Below, is my Brown Leather Braided Vintage Belt. (I have a huge collection of Vintage Belts) this one is my favorite to wear with my Spring Dresses. It matches the Sandals perfectly and is small enough for my waist.

End of Spring Sale

This sale was mainly an excuse to use my photo of Burro Alley in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Donkey was just too cute not to use as my new Sale Campaign. This Code is a Special Offer to those who read my Blog. Note: A Summer Sale will follow after this one closes, please check my Instagram for that Code. (Unsername: seasand)
