Instagram Part 4

The Classic Black and White Photo is, in my opinion the most dramatic and difficult to capture. Below are some of my favorite Black and White Photos I have taken.

Another aspect of these set of photographs is my observation of what is above me.
Also note that there are no clouds in the sky, Usually clouds divert eyes away from the lines and shadows of architecture and art.

Of of the most important aspects of my Black and White Photography is the idea of shadow, space and lines. If you notice, lines are usually what I want to present to the viewer.

Teapot Treasury Time

This is a white ceramic tea pot can be used to heat water for tea. The orange metal cozy has a wooden knob attached to the top and is lined with a yellow wool felt, with clips attached to hold the lining.
This piece is lovely for any home or office for use or as retro decor.
Thank you so so much to the lovely people of Etsy who have inclueded this adorable vintage Teapot of mine in their Amazing Treasuries!

Instagram Part 3

Capturing nature is always nice, unfortunately,I'm always in my car and rarely have time to take photographs of nature. Above is of a rattlesnake in New Mexico. The photo below is of the La Brea Tar Pits, with the reflection of trees. I found it very moving that the tar looks like water when photographed.

The Photo above is of flowers at a Museum that I volunteer for and below is my back yard, with a little lost bunny resting. The last photo is of the Garden Grounds in the Huntington Library in California. I chose these photos because each has a different subject, background and depth. However I believe that the use of light in each photo is of note because that is what I try to communicate to the viewer.

As seen on Mad Men...

These Finger Cymbals were purchased by the Mad Men Props Department. Although I was given no other information, I passionately awaited every episode to see if they would show up on the show. And they did appear on the episode, "Christmas Waltz" in the Hare Krishna scene! Please enjoy the photos of the episode:

New Mexico

My vacation to New Mexico was so fun, relaxing, inspirational and exhausting! Hiking, Museum Viewing and Shopping! So much to do and so little time. I have to say, my photos do not show the magnitude and majesty of the New Mexico Sky and Clouds. They looked as though they were only 15 feet above you and their shapes were full and so fluffy! I was pleasantly surprised with what this state had to offer in terms or Art, Nature and Color!

My Vintage Belongings

I love selling and pretty much living Vintage, ever since I was a kid, I always collected and purchased more vintage objects than anything. Here are some of my favorite items that I love.  I recently purchased the Beautiful Arrow Pin from a Pop-Up Shop in Orange County from Oh, Hello Friend.

The suitcase I also just found, I have actually been looking for a Vintage Green Suitcase for the longest time! and I finally found it. I am currently using it to hold my shoes.
Below is my Vintage Cigarette Case to hold my Business Cards! These are my Professional Arts Management Cards, which aren't as bright and colorful as my Etsy Business Cards!
