Lavender Cupcake Recipe

I made some cupcakes for work this week, below is the recipe I used, it makes one dozen. I used regular icing from the grocery store, I used a ziplock bag as a pastry bag to decorate the cupcakes. I also had four cute orange floral toothpicks to decorate a few of them too.

Lavender Cupcakes
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 Tbsp dried edible lavender
  • 1 1/3 cups cake flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Smoothies

Over the summer I worked on some of my smoothie recipes. This Green Smoothie has two kiwis and and two bananas, coconut water and ice.

Sorry I took these  photos in my dark apartment. The Blueberry Smoothie recipe is two handfuls for blueberries, one banana, 1 cup or orange juice and ice.

Each smoothie is blended until smooth. The ice is there for a liquid consistency and to make the drink ice cold.

Homemade Spam Sushi

I've been enjoying my subscription to the Try The World box! Here is my recipe for Spam Sushi: Teriyaki Spam, Avocado, Carrots, Rice, Seaweed and Soy Sauce.
It's quite simple, just heat some rice, cut a carrot, avocado and spam into small pieces as desired and roll.

Smoothie Love: Blueberries

I love making smoothies during the summer. So I though I'd post my smoothies on my blog, not just my Instagram. This is my Blueberry, Yogurt, Honey and Coconut Water with a shot of energy powder and crushed ice.
