First 2015 Sale!
The Vintage Hair Dryer (Blue Handy Hannah) sold! This makes the 99th sale on Etsy for Sea Sand Vintage. This is so exciting, I never thought I'd make it to almost 100 sales in 4 years. If you make a purchase or are interested in my packaging and shipping process as a vintage Etsy seller on Instagram and this blog.

Pierre Huyghe
I really enjoyed this exhibit at LACMA in Los Angeles until February 22, 2015! It was unique, fun and a little creepy. Enjoy my photos and you can read about the exhibit here.
The Photos above are of Human, a dog on display. Yes, this live dog is a work of art. The next photo is of a statue with a bee hive in place of the head. The next photo is of a light installation, which is also interactive, defines the space and is also functional.
The two photos above are of the nature aspects of the exhibit, Snow, a black ice rink and the last photo (below) is a dark space where a puppet show video was being shown. There were a few more video and light areas in the exhibition, you you need to see them for yourself! This is a one of a kind exhibition experience you shouldn't miss.

Office Listings Added
I've added even more listings to my Etsy shop. This two printer's blocks I got from a Printer's fair last summer. You can click on the images to see the listings.
This fun Concord typewriter is a lovely blue color and it's from JC Penny in the 60s or 70s. It was hard to find exact information online. This piece was found on a vintage shop in Monterrey, California.

Try the World : Holiday Box
The Holiday box came after the Holidays... First, it wasn't wrapped in a red ribbon like other Holiday boxes I saw online. Also, I've been waiting for the Rome box for 4 months and never received it. I did however get he Rio box and the England box. That being said this box had a lot to live up to and I did enjoy that it represented food from multiple countries. I also noticed this box didn't have as many amazing goodies as other Holiday boxes. It didn't include: Favarger Milk Chocolate, Doce De Leite set, Les Confitures à L’Ancienneor or the HazerBaba Turkish Delight with Pistachio.
My box had Rip Van Wafels, Teas, Scandinavian cookie ginger snaps, Urbani Tartufi Truffle oil, Guylian Belgian Hazelnut Chocolate Truffes, Maison D’Armorine French Salted Caramel Chocolate, and Rendez-Vous French Fruit Flavored Candies in Peach, pear and cherry.
I've never been a chocolate person, however the Guylian Belgian Hazelnut Chocolate Truffes are fantastic! I wish that I had gotten the Doce De Leite set instead of the French Salted Caramel Chocolate, and Rendez-Vous French Fruit Flavored Candies... but I guess it wasn't meant to be. This has been my least favorite box so far, but mostly because it made no sense to get this in mid-January, it would have been better to get this in November (instead of my England box). The other winners are the Rip Van Wafels and the Ginger snaps!

A Vintage Christmas Continued...
I didn't have time to post my Vintage Christmas update until now. Read here to see where I got these vintage items. As you can see I used my Oh Joy! decorations alongside the vintage banner. I've had the small vintage inspired board bags made to look like a cabin, Woodie car and trailer, with pipe-cleaner people.
