I really want to read 365: A Daily Creativity Journal and Unstuck: 52 Ways to Get (and Keep) Your Creativity Flowing at Home, at Work & in your Studio from Noah Scalin.
Mostly because since I have some free time, I'd like to get "unstuck" and try to enjoy life the way I used to.

LACMA Rock
"Levitated Mass by artist Michael Heizer is composed of a 456-foot-long slot constructed on LACMA's campus, over which is placed a 340-ton granite megalith. As with other works by the artist, such as Double Negative (1969), the monumental negative form is key to the experience of the artwork. Heizer conceived of the artwork in 1968, but discovered an appropriate boulder only decades later, in Riverside County, California. At 340 tons, the boulder is one of the largest megaliths moved since ancient times. Taken whole, Levitated Mass speaks to the expanse of art history, from ancient traditions of creating artworks from megalithic stone, to modern forms of abstract geometries and cutting-edge feats of engineering."

These photos were taken by me, the Rock was just down the street from where I live! So visiting this Artwork and taking photos was a quick and easy trip.

Spring-y Florals
These greeting cards are just adorable, I hope that they will find a home one day. The animals and florals are just adorable!
Nothing like adding new spring floral fabrics to the store! I love these patterns! They are all available at Sea Sand Vintage!

Farmer's Market
My favorite Farmer’s Market that I have ever visited (Besides Prague and Rome) is in Claremont! Everything is of quality and at a great price. Everyone is very nice and there is a real sense of Community. My favorite booths are the Flower booth, Home-made Hummus booth and finally the Berry booth because those are the best berries I’ve ever had.

More Fabric
It's always interesting to see the kinds of fabric people buy. I still don't know the science of it, so I try to add new fabric listings that vary and are not too similar to each other. Still hoping that stripes and floral fabrics are good for the Spring.
The bear fabric is a personal favorite for me because it was used for my Cousin's room almost 30 years ago. I would really like these bears to go to a good home with a child that appreciates the history of this fabric.

A Small Rant:
If the USPS is suffering, the post office men and women should be happier when I come in with many packages for them. Please don't get angry and annoyed and try to rush me when I'm trying to write the fastest I can. If this is your job, you should accept it and help me and others with a smile and be pleasant. If any pieces get lost in the mail or arrive in bad condition I will drive farther to an other post office that is helpful and wants to send my packages safely and securely.

Chalkboard Madness
I have been thrifting for a while (at least two weeks) and I have yet to find anything good! I am really picky about the Vintage items I buy because, if they don't sell right away, I will be using space in my studio/office that I need or can use for other Vintage pieces.
When I saw these Chalkboards, I knew that they were perfect, especially since I've been searching for some for a Pop-Up Shop that has been in my mind recently. (I don't have the funds or courage to try selling at a vintage or craft/art fair yet). I really want to gain a fan-base and get a feel for who my customers are.
Here is the listing for the Chalkboards, take a look. They are great for a kitchen, shop or even decor for a wedding!

Thrifting
I did some major thrifting in the City of Orange in Orange County or as non-Orange County Residence call it, “The OC”; I find it just as weird when people call California, “Cali”. Anyway, there are many good vintage/thrift stores here. The issue is finding the right find. The prices are quite high because of the clientele. But once and a while I will find a good deal. Please enjoy some of the great objects I saw.

Food Trucks
I love food, and being a Foodie, I am not a snob about it. It’s seems to be a popular California past-time to go to Food Truck and hangout. In fact, the Art Walk should be called a Food Walk, because most people just go for the food trucks. Here are some of my favorites if you are in California or plan on visiting sometime.
